3.are supposed 解析:考查suppose的用法。be supposed to do sth.“应该做某事”,故填are supposed。
4.preparations 解析:考查固定搭 配。prepare“准备(动词)”。preparation“准备(可数名词)”。make preparations for“为……做好准备”。句意:他们总是在仲夏的时候,准备冬天的食物,为漫长而寒冷的冬天做准备。故填preparations。
5.when/as 解析:考查连词的用法。句意:当你享受阳光和沙滩的时候,也要考虑可能存在的险境。空格前后内容存在时间关系,可以用时间连词when或者as。故填when/as。
6.themselves 解析:考查反 身代词。句意:在冬天的时候,他们会提醒他们自己。故填themselves。
7.the 解析:考查定冠词the的用法。根据句意,特别是空格后的first可知,first在此表示顺序,序数词前应加定冠词the。故填the。
8.turns 解析:考查一般现在时的用法。在if引导的条件状语从句中,从句用一般 现在时表示条件 ,主句用将来时表示结果。故填turns。句意:如果天气再一次变冷,他们将会潜回去。
9.possibly 解析:考查副词的用法。possible“可能的”,用来修饰名词。possibly “可能地”,一般用来修饰动词或者形容词。这里是一个省略句,省略了can后面的动词,而修饰动词要用副词。故填possibly。
10.What 解析:考查what引导的主语从句。what引导的主语从句中,what在从句中做主语,表示“你所……的”。句意:你可以从蚂蚁哲学中学到的是:永远不要放弃,向前看,保持积极的心态,做所有你所能做的。故填What。
